Meet Honey – A Sweet Soul Searching for Her Forever Home! Honey is a terrier mix, possibly with some hound, and she’s spayed and up to date on all her shots. She’s settling beautifully into her foster home, learning house rules, and knows several commands. Super food-motivated, she’ll gladly follow you anywhere for a treat! She loves being outside—bouncing through the grass and listening to all the new sounds. She’s also a total cuddle bug who enjoys snuggling in close for love and hugs. Honey’s history is a bit of a mystery—she was found as a stray—but we know she previously lived with both a dog and a cat. After a change in that foster she spent nearly a month in boarding before arriving at her current foster home. She may be shy at first, but warms up quickly. With proper introductions, she may do well with another respectful dog. A dog-savvy, home with kids 18 and up would be ideal for this sweet girl to thrive.– you might just be her happily ever after! and joy to your life for hours!

Duffy has endured unimaginable cruelty and neglect. He suffered blunt force trauma to his jaw, which was broken so badly that the bones separated. He was beaten for pooping in the house, then thrown from a car. And yet—his gentle and loving spirit remains unbroken. Duffy is neutered, up to date on his shots, and finally experiencing relief after having a painful tooth removed. Now that he’s feeling better, his playful, affectionate side is starting to shine! Despite his resilience, Duffy is still working through the effects of his past. Housetraining has been a challenge due to his trauma, but with patience, love, and consistency, he will continue to make progress. He needs a compassionate home where he can feel safe, gain confidence, and truly heal. Duffy is still very much a puppy, making up for the puppyhood he never had. Meet Theo, a sweet boy rescued from a kill shelter. We don’t know much about his past, but his actions speak loud and clear—he has suffered great physical abuse. It has taken him a while, but he is finally learning to trust and realizes he will not be hurt anymore. He even comes for playtime and allows some gentle touches. Theo is neutered and up to date on his shots. He loves playing with balls and enjoys the company of both cats and dogs in his foster home. While he’s gentle and loving, he still needs time to adjust and isn’t quite ready for adoption yet. Poor Theo also has dry eye, likely from the severe matting he suffered for so long. He isn’t a fan of the eye drops, but he’s learning. His foster mom is working with him every day to build his confidence.
