DRAGO (now BARCLAY) NEEDS US Trainer: Jessica Ann Colletti www.caninebehaviorsolutions.com Hi everyone, we want to give you a heartfelt update on Barclay (formerly Drago) and share an important plea for help. Barclay just had his first session with the amazing dog trainer and behaviorist Jessica Ann Colletti, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Her calm, compassionate approach was exactly what Barclay needed. After a rough start in life and some disappointing experiences with previous trainers, Jessica gave us hope. She saw past his nervous energy and recognized the scared, sweet boy inside. With a heart full of puppy and layers of fear, Barclay has a long road ahead — but Jessica believes in him. She has a clear plan, and with consistent work, he can overcome his fears and finally feel safe. To make that happen, we need to raise $750 for a 10-session training package ($75 per session). His foster, Dina Marie, is already hard at work following Jessica’s guidance — and if Barclay continues to improve, she is ready to make him a permanent part of her family. Dina Marie has stepped up for Barclay even though we didn’t know about all his fears. She is a hero, and we can never thank her enough. As you can see Barclay is completed bonded with her. He finally has a mommy. We know times are hard, but even a small amount— $5, $10, whatever you can spare — helps get us closer to giving Barclay the life he deserves. And if you can’t donate, sharing this post means the world. All donations are tax-deductible and can be made at: www.affrescue.com Venmo: @AFFrescue PayPal: affrescue@aol.com We are finally on the right path. Barclay’s journey is far from over, but for the first time, it feels like he’s going to be okay. Let’s walk this road together — and show him what it means to be truly loved. We will never give up on him. Thank you for standing with us. Animal Friends Furever Team

Meet Theo, a sweet boy rescued from a kill shelter. We don’t know much about his past, but his actions speak loud and clear—he has suffered great physical abuse. It has taken him a while, but he is finally learning to trust and realizes he will not be hurt anymore. He even comes for playtime and allows some gentle touches. Theo is neutered and up to date on his shots. He loves playing with balls and enjoys the company of both cats and dogs in his foster home. While he’s gentle and loving, he still needs time to adjust and isn’t quite ready for adoption yet. Poor Theo also has dry eye, likely from the severe matting he suffered for so long. He isn’t a fan of the eye drops, but he’s learning. His foster mom is working with him every day to build his confidence. In the meantime, you can support his care by donating Pay pal affrescue@aol.com Venmo AFFrescue Stay tuned for updates on his progress!

Meet Sterling Hi there! I’m Sterling, a 7-year-old purebred Dachshund with a big heart and a tough past. I came from a backyard breeder and was used as a stud dog before being given up. I live in a home with a lot of people and animals now, and my owner moved. I was left with another man in the house. Thankfully, I’m now neutered and ready for a new beginning. I currently live with other dogs, but one of them just doesn’t like me—and honestly, I don’t like him either. It’s caused a lot of stress, and my dad wants me to finally have the peaceful, happy life I deserve. I would thrive as an only dog or maybe with a calm female companion. I’m not housetrained or obedience trained yet, so I need an experienced Dachshund owner who understands my breed and can help me feel safe, teach me basic commands, and build my confidence. I may need work, but I’m so worth it! I love attention, gentle pets, and walks. I’m a total lap dog at heart—but I haven’t had the chance to enjoy that lately. Are you the patient, loving human I’ve been waiting for? Questions? Call us at 215-676-3318 Let’s give Sterling the calm, devoted home he’s always deserved.
