Hi, I’m Barkley! I’m about 3 years old and doing so well in my training—my fear and anxiety are not as bad as they used to be. My foster mom and dog trainer have worked hard with patience and positive reinforcement to get me to this point. My life has been tragic, but I’m a survivor and have found trust and love. I’m the kind of guy who needs patience and time to know you. My trainer will be the one to introduce us. My foster mom will tell you once I’m comfortable that I’m a zoomie-loving, treat-stealing, loud-barking-in-the-car, big cuddle bug who is happiest with my family. I’ve waited a long time, and my team feels I am ready to meet my new adopter and go home. It will be a slow process, but I’m well worth it. I am neutered and up to date on shots.
